Directing a TV commercial of an American pest control company was a big conceptual challenge. The indications that we got were about dynamism but also about the huge amount of information that the ad had to transmit. The goal was to produce on the viewers (and, of course, potential buyers) fear and some sort of disgust whilst the damages that termites and roaches produce in their homes too, with white colour as perfection and cleanliness confronting the unpleasant darkness of the bugs. Everything was made with a hyperrealist 3D modelling, but equilibrating the piece so as to make it visually attractive but highly informative at the same time.
